STREET PASTORS of TORBAY 2016. Excellent all peoples volunteer non judgemental caring service of assistance to help the most needy with spiritual connections to the iconic story of the good Samaritans of the world. A FIVE STAR SERVICE***** DEVON HOMES ACTION TEAM 2016. Volunteer active people assisting the homeless and street bound, with clothing, hot food, safe refuge. Again, good Samaritans. A FIVE STAR SERVICE***** TORBAY has been recently rated as one of the 'worst places' in the United Kingdom, to raise a family. This survey considers all of the 'facts' available. TORBAY at the top of 'region' list for POVERTY. "TOTNES" has been rated as Devons top ten, number one, place to visit, this summer. People of all ages regularly commit suicide in the area, some times as many as three in one week, some times as many as six in one area...... Their are organisations to assist such people, to help them in their hour of great sadness, despair, rejection, loss, racism, bullying. Sudden deaths have occurred in the area for no apparent reason or for reasons that have not been reported by the local authorities or press. Other people go missing, with local responsible, caring search teams spending hundreds of hours, thousands of pounds looking for them. Devon Police attend these incidents to 'show the public how they use their state of the art equipment.' Costing hundreds of millions of pounds in public taxes. Helicopters, vehicles, drones, diving equipment, guns, forensic investigation, etc. The authorities are slow to act in taking positive, lawful action against those who often visit the area and camp illegally, until they are evicted off of the public grounds. Some have left behind human waste, kitchen furniture, garden waste by the skip loads, lorry loads, (fly tipping), which is cleared up by the authorities using public tax monies. Evidence is being gathered by hundreds of responsible members of the public, who are fed up with such unnecessary, loutish behaviour. Torbay Council have just printed an expensive document, with postage, to ask all taxable persons how they feel about paying higher taxes to support their folly in wasting taxes. The local press reports regular acts of violence in the Torbay area, violent physical assaults, attempted murders, violent murders, racist assaults, with other people being seriously. Some local inhabitants have displayed their 'anti social behavior', and their contempt for authority, usually with verbal abuse, death threats, (some of which are very, very serious), which have been reported to the police. Racist Graffiti has been painted on the side of a Torquay Public Building and other Graffiti Art can be seen at prominent Public Places, with 'litter' floating in the water at Torbay Marina. Other people deliberately foul public places with dog dirt bags and drop litter, beer cans, fishing tackle at unsupervised public places. Wildlife has been seen, reported to be 'harassed' by other members of the public, resulting in distress for the animal that they pick on, with caring members of the community stating their genuine, responsible concerns. The local press has reported that large sums of community funds have been spent on trying to start projects such as building a cruise ship terminal which would have no profitable return for many future years. Local 'historic buildings', tourist attractions are left empty, because funding cannot be found to repair them, to the standard required for use as 'major venue tourist attractions', to further generate income for the upkeep of these 'historic buildings'. Local inhabitants who are trying to save such 'sites' from 'developers' have stated that the local council should have 'constructively marketed' these sites as profitable attractions for tourists and local inhabitants. Vulnerable members of the local community are still seen 'living on the streets' in THE ENGLISH RIVIERA of TORBAY. THE ENGLISH RIVIERA of TORBAY was recently animated as being "THE JEWEL of the SOUTH WEST" by the locally famous "SAND MAN".
